Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between KO Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, KO Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anthony Po!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kane tries to clinch but Po moves out of range.
Po throws a series of punches but Kane moves out of range.
Kane tries to clinch up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kane is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Po is defending well for now.
Kane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Po prevents it.
Kane could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kane is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Po is struggling to control the position.
Po gets underhooks to prevent Kane's takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane is trying to maintain a safe position but Po gets an underhook and turns Kane into the cage.

Po tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kane smiles and moves away.
Po looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Po persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.

Kane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch but Po swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Po fails with a takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Po shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kane tries to clinch up but Po circles away and keeps his distance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

and Kane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Po won't be happy with that.
Kane decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A lazy body kick from Po
and Kane counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kane.
Kane misses with a knee strike.
Kane fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Po has Kane pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Po pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kane tumbling to the mat - Po dives into Kane's guard.
Kane wants to stand up but Po is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Po throws a big right hand that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Po doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kane counters by clinching up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kane misses with an elbow strike.
Kane connects with a knee to the head.
Kane with a knee to the head.
Kane is breathing heavily.
Kane lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kane goes for a takedown attempt but Po pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Po has closed the distance and engaged Kane in a clinch.
Kane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Po gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kane with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Po.
Po stops a takedown attempt from Kane.
Po on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Po gets a trip takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that KO Kane will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Po throws a head kick that misses
and Kane counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kane.
Kane lands a nice knee to the body.
Kane tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kane throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Po blocks it with crossed arms.
Po pulls guard.
Kane preventing the sweep.
Po has momentary wrist control but Kane slips an elbow through the middle.
Kane has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Po is proving hard to escape from.
Po is trying to keep Kane in close.
Kane has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kane gets to his feet. Po looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Po.
Po has taken the fight to the clinch.
Po is trying to break the clinch but Kane is controlling him.
Po breaks from the clinch.
Kane showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Po.

and Kane holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Po breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Po avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Po shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kane counters with a nice body kick.

Kane stalks Po and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Po's face. Po staggers backwards, shaken.
Po will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
KO Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Po.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kane!
Kane has managed to clinch.
Po tries to pull guard but Kane won't allow it.
Kane jumps guard and drags Po to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kane has a closed guard, preventing Po from standing up.
Kane kicks Po off and gets to his feet.

Kane closes the distance and pushes Po back into the cage.
Po wants to break free but Kane has control.
Kane with a knee to the head.
Kane unloads a knee to the mid-section. Po lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Po successfully pulls guard.
Kane stands and steps away. Po gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Po throws a sloppy head kick
and Kane counters with a left and a right that stings Po.
Kane tries to clinch up
and Po counters with a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Po fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Anthony Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Kane scores with a four punch combination!
Kane closes the distance but Po moves to the side
and Po counters with a shoot takedown. Kane fights it but they end up in guard.
Kane has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Po off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Kane has managed to clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Po is trying to stall.
Po escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Kane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Po moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kane dives in and grabs Po's left leg, looking for a takedown. Po pushes down on Kane's head and hops out.
Po fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kane sprawls well initially but Po persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Po stops Kane from getting back to his feet.

Po wants to work for an arm triangle but Kane is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Po tries to pass to full mount but Kane defends it.

Kane kicks off Po and gets to his feet.
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch but Po swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Po throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kane's waist but Kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Po off to one side.
Kane looks for a takedown but Po sprawls well.

Kane pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Po tries to score a body lock takedown but Kane shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Po counters with a body kick.
Kane wants to clinch up but Po keeps it at a distance.

and Kane counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Anthony Po comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
