The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Evans avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Evans was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Smith!
It looks like Dan Evans has been cut.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith throws a series of punches but Evans moves out of range.

Evans dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Evans's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith throws a pinpoint strike between Evans's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Evans crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Smith scores a great knockout victory!
