Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buggy Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Against I kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Minard is looking to clinch but Clown is avoiding it.
Minard slaps away a takedown attempt from Clown, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Minard throws a leg kick but Clown sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Minard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Minard moves into range and clinches up with Clown.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Clown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Clown does no damage.

Clown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Minard circles away quickly and effectively.

and Minard counters with a nice leg kick.

Minard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clown.

and Clown counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Minard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Clown paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Minard lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clown will feel that in the morning.
Minard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clown's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clown is working an open guard so Minard takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Clown tries to circle away but Minard has him pinned against the ropes.

Minard lands an elbow that stopped Clown in his tracks for a moment.

Minard drags the fight down to the ground.
Clown wants to control from the top but Minard keeps moving.

Buggy Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Minard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clown as he jumps to the side.
Minard shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Clown avoids the head kick by Minard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Clown with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Minard misses with a two punch combination.
Clown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Clown looks to score with a jab to the body but Minard is just out of range.
Nice defenses there by Minard.
Minard darts in and clinches Clown up against the ropes.
Clown tries to score a body lock takedown but Minard shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Minard lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Minard prevents Clown from breaking the clinch.
Minard stalling in the clinch but Clown improves position.
Clown has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Clown is trying to force a seperation but Minard has the dominant position.
Minard throws an elbow but it misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Clown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clown fails with the takedown
and Minard counters with an inside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anderson Minard dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Buggy Clown's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
