Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ivan navarro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ivan navarro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Forrest Slice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, ivan navarro! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice cracks navarro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. navarro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one. Slice misses with a looping left. Slice displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from navarro. navarro fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Forrest Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ivan navarro. navarro fails to land the takedown. navarro looks gassed! navarro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slice.
That's one minute gone in the round. navarro slips a straight right by Slice. Slice misses with a body shot.
Slice stalks navarro and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into navarro's face. navarro staggers backwards, shaken. ivan navarro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice connects with the punch. navarro shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well. navarro gets the takedown into side control. navarro misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Slice is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but navarro has just dragged him back down to the mat. Slice stops navarro from passing to mount. Slice is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, navarro asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. navarro working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. navarro tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Slice could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Slice wants to get back to his feet but navarro drags him back down. Slice avoids any damage from the ground and pound of navarro. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slice lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice connects with a crisp jab. navarro drops his hands momentarily and Slice takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. navarro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slice swivels and escapes. A shot to de liver by Slice. Beautiful body shot. Slice throws a one two combo.
Slice throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Slice connects with a nice looking jab.
Forrest Slice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slice connects with a looping right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. navarro shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. navarro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slice is fending him off so far but navarro persists. Nope, Slice circles away and we're back to standing. Slice smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Slice scores with a hook. Slice scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. navarro looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Slice connects with a body shot. Slice lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Forrest Slice dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
navarro walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Slice connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. navarro misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Forrest Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Slice scores with a punch to the head. Slice scores with a jab. navarro acknowledges it with a nod of the head. navarro is breathing heavily. navarro with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Slice to score with a decent uppercut. navarro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slice sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Slice scores with a sloppy right hand. navarro should have avoided that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Slice. Slice scores with a nice head shot. Slice throws a looping overhand right but navarro ducks down to avoid it. Slice lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. navarro has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
navarro is rocked! Slice lands with a right and another and another! navarro is in big trouble! Slice lands again and this time it's lights out for navarro! A quality knockout there for Slice.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Forrest Slice!
