Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rau loads up on a big right hand but Tennant slips the punch.
Tennant staying out of range there.
Tennant tries to clinch but Rau moves out of range.
Rau shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rau showed some decent athleticism there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rau connects with a nice short shot to Tennant's temple.
Rau throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Tennant is trying to stand back up but Rau is controlling him

Rau thows a huge punch but Tennant dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tennant tries to close the distance and clinch but Rau swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tennant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rau.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rau looks to land a right hand but Tennant moved out of range.

Rau looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tennant is fending him off so far but Rau persists. Nope, Tennant circles away and we're back to standing.
David Tennant is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tennant steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rau.
Rau keeps the fight on the outside.
Rau connects with a single shot there.
Rau throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tennant counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tennant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rau swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rau throws a shot from downtown. Tennant moves away and avoids it.
Rau throws a series of strikes that have Tennant backpedaling.
Rau is breathing heavily.
Tennant blocks a jab.
Rau fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rau drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tennant trying to keep a closed guard but Rau is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rau is looking to work some ground and pound but Tennant has wrist control.

Rau throws a strike but Tennant rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tennant is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

Rau is working hard here to advance position.
Tennant wants to control from the top but Rau keeps moving.
Rau lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tennant!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rau with shots to the head and body - Tennant looks very uncomfortable down there.
Rau connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rau lands a big shot there that rocks Tennant but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rau lands a left and a right that send Tennant crashing to the mat, dazed. Rau thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tennant is rocked!

Tennant is still on wobbly legs! Can Rau finish him?
Rau keeps the fight on the outside.
Tennant seems to have recovered his senses.
A head kick misses from Tennant.
Rau throws a combination that misses
and Tennant counters with a big head kick but Rau shrugs it off.
Rau connects with a looping right hand.
Rau paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rau cracks Tennant with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tennant looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rau finish him?
Rau is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tennant can do to turn this around?

Tennant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rau swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rau lands a hook that stumbles Tennant back into the cage. Rau follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Tennant to the canvas! Rau pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Tennant has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
