The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Pont scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Peter Griffin has been cut.
A lazy left from Griffin finds it's target.
It looks like Jean Du Pont has been cut.
Griffin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Griffin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Du Pont's head.
Du Pont lands a front kick.
Peter Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffin looks gassed!

Du Pont misses with a takedown attempt - Griffin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Du Pont looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Griffin is fending him off so far but Du Pont persists. Nope, Griffin circles away and we're back to standing.
Du Pont defending well as Griffin loads up on a big left hand.
Du Pont avoids a punch combination nicely.
Du Pont swings for the body but Griffin moves out of range.
Du Pont scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Du Pont looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Du Pont is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Griffin's shoulder. That is not cool.

Du Pont wants to control but Griffin is keeping him busy.
Du Pont has hold of Griffin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Griffin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Du Pont cranks the arm and Griffin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Griffin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jean Du Pont!
