Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bihom Tarsun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janus Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bihom Tarsun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Janus Cross! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cross is defended easily by Tarsun. Cross shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tarsun lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Tarsun scores with a nice strike. A right-left combo lands from Tarsun. Cross walks into a straight right hand from Tarsun. Tarsun scores with a head kick.
Cross misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bihom Tarsun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janus Cross. Cross will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarsun fails in his attempt to clinch. Tarsun defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cross. Cross doesn't manage to clinch there - Tarsun circles away.
Tarsun clobbers Cross with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Cross gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tarsun. Cross closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Cross looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Tarsun is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Tarsun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cross tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cross has Tarsun pressed against the cage, preventing Tarsun from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A frustrated look appears on Tarsun's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tarsun throws a knee to the head but misses.

Tarsun breaks from the clinch.
Cross shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tarsun as he jumps to the side. Cross closes the distance and clinches up with Tarsun, looking for a takedown. Cross pushes Tarsun against the cage but Tarsun circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cross takes a kick to the side of the head. Tarsun looks to land a combination. Cross sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Janus Cross has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Tarsun.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarsun lands with a right hand. Tarsun fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cross on the side of the head. Cross takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cross fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cross looks gassed! Tarsun moves into range and clinches up with Cross. Cross jumps guard but Tarsun stands there with Cross around his waist. Cross gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cross gets control of Tarsun's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cross will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tarsun with a flurry of punches that miss. Tarsun postures up in Cross's guard and throws a big left but Cross blocks it. Tarsun stands up and waves to Cross to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarsun throws a sloppy head kick and Cross moves out of range easily. Tarsun clinches with his opponent.
Tarsun is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cross can't fight it off and eventually Tarsun manages to take the fight to the floor. Cross looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cross is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tarsun has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tarsun drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tarsun jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tarsun has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cross is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bihom Tarsun dominated that round. The cut man is working on Janus Cross's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tarsun closes the distance and pushes Cross back into the cage. Cross tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tarsun just stands there and leans against the cage. Cross tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cross drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bihom Tarsun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janus Cross. Tarsun wants a takedown but no success here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cross drags the fight down to the ground.
Tarsun drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tarsun jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cross is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tarsun defends well. Tarsun wants to stand but Cross has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cross is breathing heavily. Tarsun trying to stand up but can't free himself from Cross's guard. Tarsun wants to control from the top but Cross keeps moving. Cross has a closed guard, preventing Tarsun from standing up. Cross looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cross has his foot on Tarsun's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tarsun works his way back into a safe position though. Tarsun trying to control the position from guard on top but Cross is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cross takes one to the side of the head.
Cross tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tarsun is looking to slow Cross down with leg kicks. Cross tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tarsun sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cross somewhat. Tarsun goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Tarsun plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cross shoots in but Tarsun avoids the takedown attempt easily. Tarsun throws a right and a left that Cross avoids nicely. Nice uppercut lands for Tarsun. That snapped Cross's head back.
Tarsun connects with the punch. Tarsun lands with a kick to the temple. Cross shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Nice takedown defense from Tarsun. No joy for Cross on that attempt. Tarsun misses with a takedown and Cross counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarsun moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tarsun is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tarsun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tarsun stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tarsun dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cross. That did some damage! Tarsun lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Cross has his takedown stuffed and Tarsun counters with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bihom Tarsun dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Janus Cross's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Decent striking displayed by Tarsun there. Tarsun lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tarsun throws a nice head kick!
Cross gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tarsun counters with a head kick. Cross takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cross swats away the attempt to clinch by Tarsun. Bihom Tarsun is winning the standup battle so far. Tarsun scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tarsun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cross paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tarsun lands a head kick!
Tarsun lands a nice hook to Cross's body. Cross takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Janus Cross is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cross shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Tarsun to counter with a crisp jab. Cross with a lazy takedown attempt and Tarsun counters with a slapping leg kick. Bihom Tarsun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janus Cross. Tarsun lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tarsun throws out a powerful jab. Tarsun scores with the left hand. Cross knows he should have avoided that one. Cross tries to clinch but Tarsun moves away and Cross takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tarsun clobbers Cross with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Tarsun scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tarsun lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fight stays on the outside here - Tarsun looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tarsun lands a with a good body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarsun lands a high kick!
Cross doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tarsun counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tarsun scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Tarsun throws a nice outside leg kick. Tarsun ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tarsun takes the fight into the clinch. Tarsun lands a nice elbow. Tarsun scores with a knee to the head.
Bihom Tarsun is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tarsun with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Cross tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tarsun just stands there and leans against the cage. Cross jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tarsun walks away with a smile on his face. Cross gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A solid leg kick lands there for Tarsun.
Tarsun lands with a slapping head kick. Cross takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cross takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tarsun scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tarsun lands with a hook. Cross tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Janus Cross has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cross throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tarsun was covering up waiting for the punch and Cross finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Bihom Tarsun showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tarsun, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
