Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Savs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Savs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savs tries to clinch up.

Liddel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Liddel in particular looking to stall.
Liddel wants to take a breather but Savs is having none of it.

Savs is trying to stand up here but Liddel is controlling him well.

Liddel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Liddel lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Liddel is taking a breather. Savs says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Liddel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Savs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liddel tightens his grip and picks Savs up, before dumping him to the ground. Savs manages to land in guard.

Liddel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Savs is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Liddel dives into side control.
