Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob The Jew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Edwards might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Funk Soul Brotha - FatBoy Slim. Mark Edwards has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob The Jew!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Jew moves into the clinch.
Edwards lands a nice elbow.


It looks like Bob The Jew has been cut.
The Jew avoiding damage.
Edwards comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Edwards gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from The Jew.
Edwards misses with an elbow strike.
Edwards lands an elbow that stopped The Jew in his tracks for a moment.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The Jew tries to break the clinch but Edwards is controlling the position.

That has opened up Bob The Jew's cut even more.
The Jew has Edwards pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Edwards manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - The Jew has eaten all the pies!

The Jew jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Edwards walks away with a smile on his face. The Jew gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The Jew tries to close the distance and clinch but Edwards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and The Jew counters with a nice body shot.
The Jew throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

The Jew bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Edwards regains half guard.
The Jew seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Edwards trying to control but The Jew postures up.
The Jew trying to control the action but Edwards is working from the bottom.
The Jew lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The Jew is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Edwards keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Edwards pushes The Jew off but The Jew dives into side control.
Edwards stops The Jew from passing to mount.
The strikes coming from The Jew are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
You can see the frustration on Edwards's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The Jew is trying to get an arm triangle but Edwards is defending well.
The Jew looks gassed!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Edwards sneaks out the side door and pushes The Jew away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The Jew closes the distance but Edwards moves to the side

and Edwards holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The Jew is working for takedown but Edwards is calmly controlling the position for now.
Edwards misses with an elbow strike.
The Jew fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob The Jew dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bob The Jew's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and The Jew counters with a single leg into guard. Edwards didn't expect that.
The Jew is standing up over Edwards. Edwards looks to escape but The Jew dives into side control.
The Jew tries to advance to mount but can't.
The Jew is breathing heavily.
The Jew trying to control the position but Edwards is working away.

The Jew stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and The Jew counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Edwards looks to throw an elbow but misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Edwards gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The Jew tries to pull guard but Edwards holds him up against the cage and eventually The Jew drops back down to his feet.
Edwards keeps control of The Jew as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Edwards lands a good knee to the midsection. The Jew won't want to take too many of those.
Edwards drops down looking for an ankle pick but The Jew pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Edwards wants to clinch but The Jew slips to the side

and The Jew counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The Jew drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edwards looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edwards looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edwards!
The Jew tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Edwards wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

You can see the frustration on The Jew's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The Jew is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Edwards is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Edwards looking to ground and pound but The Jew is blocking nicely.
The Jew tries to lock up and control but Edwards gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bob The Jew comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got The Jew winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
