Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adin Wrenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Ike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adin Wrenton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Ike! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrenton looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ike blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wrenton. Wrenton throwing shots but Ike is blocking nicely. Ike makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ike. Wrenton postures up.
Wrenton preventing the sweep. Wrenton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ike is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wrenton defends well. Wrenton tries to free his leg and advance position but Ike is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ike keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wrenton. Wrenton tries to clinch up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrenton moves out of range of the body kick from Ike.
Ike keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Wrenton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wrenton is breathing heavily. Ike wants to improve his position but Wrenton is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Wrenton seems content to control. Ike looking for submissions off his back. Wrenton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrenton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ike defending well though. Wrenton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wrenton missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wrenton is looking to advance position but Ike won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wrenton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ike manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wrenton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ike swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wrenton content to stall in guard here. Ike keeping full guard, as Wrenton tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ike is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ike keeping moving, preventing Wrenton from controlling successfully. Wrenton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ike is keeping the position for now. Wrenton is working hard here to advance position. Ike wants to stand up but Wrenton is controlling him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wrenton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wrenton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ike closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ike lands in his opponent's guard. Wrenton is pulling down on Ike's head. It's preventing any offense from Ike, at least for the moment. Ike prevents Wrenton from getting back to his feet. Ike trying to control but Wrenton is working from the bottom. Ike won't allow Wrenton to sweep him here. Wrenton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adin Wrenton dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wrenton shoots in but no luck this time. Ike displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wrenton. Ike ducks under a wild hook from Wrenton. Ike shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ike showed some decent athleticism there. Wrenton wants to control but Ike is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ike thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wrenton's head. Ike tries to stand but can't do so whilst Wrenton controls his leg. Ike trying to control the action but Wrenton is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrenton has a hand on Ike's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ike takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ike has hold of Wrenton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wrenton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wrenton is working to get back to half guard.
Ike looking to secure an arm triangle but Wrenton defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wrenton can't escape the position.
Ike looking to control and managing it successfully. Wrenton wants to control but Ike is having none of it. Wrenton is squirming around, avoiding Ike's attempts to control the action. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ike has eaten all the pies! Wrenton wants to control but Ike is having none of it. Wrenton swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrenton working to try and regain half guard.
Wrenton tries to control Ike's body but Ike pushes him off. Wrenton squirms to his side and now Ike has his back! Ike keeps control of the position as Wrenton tries to break free.
Wrenton avoids the strikes from Ike. Wrenton staying busy and making it hard for Ike to control. Wrenton turns into Ike and is now in his guard.
Wrenton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ike swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ike tries to clinch up but Wrenton circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wrenton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adin Wrenton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ike is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wrenton tries to clinch but Ike moves out of range. Wrenton shoots and misses and Ike counters with a takedown into side control. Wrenton stops Ike from passing to mount. Ike lands a decent elbow from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ike tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wrenton's legs. Wrenton is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Ike showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Ike fails with the takedown. Wrenton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ike as he jumps to the side. Ike shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ike is trying to work for a kimura but Wrenton is defending well.
Wrenton is looking for a sweep. Ike is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wrenton trying to control but Ike postures up.
Wrenton wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrenton wants to get back to full guard but Ike has passed into side control. Wrenton is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ike has control of Wrenton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wrenton regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ike tries to push Wrenton's head away but Wrenton is holding on tight. Wrenton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wrenton tries to improve his position but instead Ike has taken his back! Ike cracks Wrenton with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Wrenton from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Wrenton breaks Ike's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wrenton misses with a takedown attempt - Ike sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Adin Wrenton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wrenton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ike sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wrenton somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adin Wrenton. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wrenton.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ike lands a jab-cross combination. Wrenton doesn't manage to clinch there - Ike circles away.
Wrenton fails with the takedown and Ike counters with a stiff right hand. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wrenton. Wrenton stuffs the takedown attempt from Ike. Ike gets slowly back to his feet. Ike fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wrenton avoids it really well and circles away. Ike takes one to the chin there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wrenton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ike shoots in but no luck this time. Wrenton wants to clinch up but Ike keeps it at a distance. Wrenton throws a right and a left that both miss. Wrenton tries to clinch up. Ike clinches but Wrenton breaks the clinch so Wrenton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wrenton trying to control the position from guard on top but Ike is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ike preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ike looking to control.
Wrenton trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adin Wrenton. I think Wrenton has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
