Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Ray Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solo Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Ray Kshymensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solo Man!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man has a takedown stuffed.

Man shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kshymensky pushes Man off looking to stand but Man dives back in and keeps control.
Man seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Man throwing shots but Kshymensky is blocking nicely.
Man throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Man is looking for a kimura but Kshymensky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Man to get the leverage.
Man prevents Kshymensky from standing back up.
Man is keen to just control but Kshymensky is a slippery customer.
Man moves into full mount! Kshymensky won't be happy about that!

Man is going olschool here, as he tries to force Kshymensky to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kshymensky shrugs it off.
Man won't let Kshymensky get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kshymensky throws a jab when Man was well out of range.

Man bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kshymensky is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Man creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kshymensky sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Man working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Man sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kshymensky is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kshymensky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Man tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Man has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Man is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kshymensky has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solo Man dominated that round.
That's time! Kshymensky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Kshymensky tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kshymensky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kshymensky tries to score with a low kick but Man moves his leg out of the way.
Kshymensky feints and then cracks Man's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Man down.
Man throws a body punch but Kshymensky moves out of range.
Kshymensky connects with a crisp jab.
Kshymensky connects with a nice looking jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Man misses the target.
Kshymensky slaps away a takedown attempt from Man, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kshymensky scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


It looks like Solo Man has been cut.
Kshymensky defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Man.
Jesse Ray Kshymensky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solo Man.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Man moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kshymensky has worked his arm free - good work by Kshymensky!

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kshymensky is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Man advances to full mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Man there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Man wants to control the pace but Kshymensky is squirming around nicely.
Man sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Man can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kshymensky is looking to escape.
Man looking to ground and pound but Kshymensky is blocking nicely.

Man is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kshymensky has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kshymensky!

Kshymensky stands and steps away. Man gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

No luck for Man with that takedown attempt.
Kshymensky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Man circles away quickly and effectively.

Solo Man has got the better of the ground game so far.

Man drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kshymensky manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Man has Kshymensky in his guard.

Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kshymensky defends well.
Man manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Man looking to control but Kshymensky is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kshymensky had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Man is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kshymensky Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Man's back instead.

Man is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
