Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cunty McCunterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nightmare Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cunty McCunterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nightmare Kane! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCunterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kane's waist but Kane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCunterson off to one side. Kane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McCunterson did well to prevent Kane getting side control. Kane lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. McCunterson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kane. McCunterson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kane tries to stand but can't do so whilst McCunterson controls his leg. Kane missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kane scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kane takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kane wants to get back to his feet.
McCunterson gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCunterson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McCunterson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kane trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCunterson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McCunterson working for a triangle but Kane defends it easily.
Kane throws a big right hand that misses. Kane cracks McCunterson with a solid left hand. McCunterson controls Kane momentarily but Kane frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McCunterson has a closed guard, preventing Kane from standing up. McCunterson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well. McCunterson is breathing heavily. Kane wants to stand and escape but instead McCunterson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kane keeping moving, preventing McCunterson from controlling successfully. Kane wants to stand up but McCunterson is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCunterson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. McCunterson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kane! McCunterson is looking to reverse the position. Kane stands up and beckons McCunterson to his feet. Nightmare Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCunterson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kane wants to stand but McCunterson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McCunterson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kane scores with a decent looking elbow strike. McCunterson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McCunterson's head. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but McCunterson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McCunterson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kane is aware though and is defending well. Kane wants to stand but McCunterson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McCunterson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nightmare Kane dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCunterson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McCunterson tries to buck Kane off but Kane is having none of it. Kane stands up and beckons McCunterson to his feet. Kane lands with a straight right. McCunterson didn't see that one coming. Kane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kane showed some decent athleticism there. McCunterson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kane's back! McCunterson looking to break Kane's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kane remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McCunterson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! McCunterson missing with punches from the back. Kane is trying to stand back up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCunterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCunterson is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Kane won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips McCunterson off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cunty McCunterson!
