The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levesque lands a nice looking body kick.
Levesque throws a leg kick which misses Arona's front leg but catches the back leg as Arona tries to avoid it.

Levesque closes the distance and clinches.
Levesque connects with a knee to the head.

Levesque's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Arona shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Levesque defends it nicely.
Levesque jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Levesque tries a head kick but it misses.

Arona gets the takedown into side control.
Arona wants to lay and pray for a moment but Levesque keeps working.
Levesque is trying to control Arona's posture but Arona avoids it.
Levesque is looking for a sweep.

Levesque tries to escape but Arona is in control.
Arona throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Levesque is trying to improve his position.

Levesque is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Arona's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Arona! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Levesque has tapped! This one is allllll over!
