Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Gagarin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobert Jessifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Gagarin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jessifer doesn't manage to clinch there - Gagarin circles away.
Jessifer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gagarin pinned against the cage. Gagarin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jessifer feints and as Gagarin raises his hands in defense, Jessifer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jessifer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gagarin is keeping the position for now.
Jessifer with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jessifer trying to control the position from guard on top but Gagarin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jessifer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gagarin dives on top into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gagarin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jessifer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gagarin has managed to get both his arms back between Jessifer's legs - danger averted.
Jessifer is looking to stand back up but Gagarin counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jessifer.
Jessifer is looking for a sweep. Gagarin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gagarin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jessifer.
Jessifer wants to control but Gagarin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jessifer is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gagarin pulls his head out easily.

A close round but Bobert Jessifer will probably get the nod.

Gagarin tries to bum rush Jessifer with a series of wild strikes but Jessifer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gagarin misses with a few strikes there.
Jessifer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jessifer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gagarin is trying to stand back up but Jessifer is controlling him

Jessifer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jessifer is looking for a kimura but Gagarin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jessifer to get the leverage.

Gagarin is doing well to control the position and prevent Jessifer from advancing to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gagarin is trying to stand up here but Jessifer is controlling him well.

Gagarin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jessifer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gagarin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gagarin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jessifer on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Jessifer or perhaps it was just good defense by Gagarin which made him look bad.
Jessifer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jessifer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gagarin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jessifer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Bobert Jessifer has been cut.

Gagarin scores with a one two! Jessifer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jessifer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gagarin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Yuri Gagarin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gagarin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jessifer fails with a takedown attempt.
Yuri Gagarin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobert Jessifer.
Jessifer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gagarin is fending him off so far but Jessifer persists. Nope, Gagarin circles away and we're back to standing.
Gagarin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gagarin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jessifer.
Gagarin jabs at Jessifer's body.
Jessifer lands with a thumping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jessifer fails with a takedown attempt.
Gagarin throws a series of punches but Jessifer avoids them all with ease.
Jessifer moves out of range of the strikes.
Gagarin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gagarin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jessifer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jessifer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gagarin misses with the combination.
Jessifer moves into range and clinches up with Gagarin.
Jessifer tries to pull guard but Gagarin holds him up against the cage and eventually Jessifer drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jessifer tries a body shot but Gagarin blocks it.

Jessifer wants a takedown but no success here.
Yuri Gagarin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobert Jessifer.
Jessifer misses with a punch on the inside.
Gagarin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Jessifer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jessifer tries to pull guard but Gagarin holds him up against the cage and eventually Jessifer drops back down to his feet.
Jessifer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gagarin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gagarin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That has opened up Bobert Jessifer's cut even more.
Gagarin throws a combination. Jessifer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gagarin lands a really nice looking cross but Jessifer seems unphased.
Gagarin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A left and a right from Gagarin both land. Nice combination.
Gagarin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No joy there for Gagarin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jessifer scores a takedown into full mount!
Jessifer goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gagarin turns into him and now he's in Jessifer's guard.
Jessifer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gagarin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gagarin tries to free his leg and advance position but Jessifer is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gagarin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gagarin trying to control but Jessifer is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight!
Yuri Gagarin showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Gagarin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
