Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between BEEF MOE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Python (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BEEF MOE has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, BEEF MOE!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Python gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows MOE to score an easy takedown into full guard.
MOE wants to pass the guard but Python is keeping the position.

MOE drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MOE jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Python is looking to stand up but MOE isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Python looking for a sweep. Not yet Python, not yet.
Python throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Python bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in MOE's guard.
Python with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Python content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Python has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
MOE has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Python lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
MOE utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
MOE lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Python!

Python tries to reverse the position but MOE maintains control.

Python is bucking up trying to escape but MOE cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Python is squirming around, avoiding MOE's attempts to control the action.
MOE wants to take Python's back but he can't do it this time.
MOE postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Python looks a forlorn figure.

Python is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Python is looking to improve his position but MOE isn't that keen on the idea.

MOE knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Python on the ground.
MOE tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
MOE tries to control but Python wriggling away.

MOE goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Python turns into him and now he's in MOE's guard.

MOE works his way to full guard. Good work.
MOE utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

MOE is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Python jumps guard but MOE stands there with Python around his waist. Python gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
MOE avoiding damage.

MOE breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MOE shoots in and drives through. Python sprawls well.
MOE shoots in for a takedown but Python shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that BEEF MOE will probably get the nod.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
MOE has a takedown stuffed.
MOE looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Python swats away the attempt to clinch by MOE.

MOE rushes Python and presses him up against the cage.
MOE can't break the clinch.
Python jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as MOE walks away with a smile on his face. Python gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

MOE tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
MOE scores with a hook.
MOE throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
MOE lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Python at a distance.
MOE shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from MOE is defended easily by Python.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BEEF MOE. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Python takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

BEEF MOE overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Python tries to improve position but can't.
MOE will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

MOE is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Python is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

MOE stands up.

BEEF MOE dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Python avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
MOE tries to close the distance and clinch but Python swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Python decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in MOE's guard.

so Python counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

MOE goes for a takedown attempt but Python pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
BEEF MOE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MOE drives through and clinches with Python against the cage.

MOE's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
MOE dives in and grabs Python's left leg, looking for a takedown. Python pushes down on MOE's head and hops out.

and MOE counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by MOE.
MOE lands a couple of digs.
Python tries to land a sweep but no joy.
MOE prevents Python from getting back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
MOE fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Well MOE has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
