Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Trane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trane moves into the clinch.

Trane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jack is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jack is wriggling around but Trane manages to pass to half guard.
Trane throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jack is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Trane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Trane's back!

Jack is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Trane has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jack is trying to control. Trane wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ray Jack dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jack throws a right and a left that Trane avoids nicely.
Jack misses with a body shot.
Jack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trane tries to avoid it but Jack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trane to the ground. Trane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Trane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Trane's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jack throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jack jumps guard but Trane stands there with Jack around his waist. Jack gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sebastian Trane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Jack.
