Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JungHy Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Ganador!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails with the takedown.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ganador but Ganador pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ganador.
Ganador shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ganador takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Daniel Ganador seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee moves into the clinch.
Ganador tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Lee drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ganador postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
Ganador stops Lee from standing up.
Ganador passes into half guard.
Ganador decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Ganador shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
JungHy Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Ganador.
Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ganador keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ganador manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lee's best efforts.
Lee trying to mount his opponent but Ganador defends it.
Ganador regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ganador is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Lee frees his head nicely. Oh but Ganador has switched to an armbar! Lee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
