Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rene Schweidler!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Schweidler, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Schweidler against the ropes but Schweidler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt.
Sanchez moves away from the strike by Schweidler.
Sanchez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schweidler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanchez somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schweidler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sanchez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
