Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Carter Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carter Jr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Carter Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Bell! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter Jr drops his hands momentarily and Bell takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carter Jr - the referee stops the clock and Bell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carter Jr. Bell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Carter Jr is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.
Carter Jr checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Bell throws a right hand that Carter Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Carter Jr also avoids with ease. Bell lands a really nice looking cross but Carter Jr seems unphased.
Carter Jr fails in his attempt to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Bell misses the target. Bell misses with a hook. Nice jab there from Bell. A nice inside leg kick there by Carter Jr. That's going to slow Bell down. Bell throws a lazy right hand but Carter Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Carter Jr throws a combination. Bell tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bell uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carter Jr has time to react. Carter Jr gets caught flat footed, as Bell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Carter Jr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Carter Jr had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bell is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Carter Jr Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bell's back instead. Carter Jr looking for the choke from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell fending off the submission attempt from Carter Jr. Bell avoids the strikes from Carter Jr. Bell tries to break free.
Bell trying to control the position but Carter Jr manages to sink in the hooks. Carter Jr is trying to stick to Bell's back but Bell is turning into Carter Jr. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Carter Jr's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bell. Carter Jr is looking for a triangle but Bell pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carter Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice uppercut lands for Bell. That snapped Carter Jr's head back.
Carter Jr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Carter Jr tries to clinch there but Bell circles away.
Carter Jr moves in looking to clinch but Bell pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell misses with a looping right. Carter Jr throws a looping overhand right but Bell ducks down to avoid it. A telegraphed right hand from Carter Jr misses the target. Carter Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Carter Jr takes one to the side of the head.
Bell swings for the body but Carter Jr moves out of range.
Bell scores with a jab to the body. Bell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carter Jr ducks right into an uppercut from Bell. Carter Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bell finds it's way round the side to connect with Carter Jr's head. Bell just misses with a punch to the body.
Bell misses the jab. Carter Jr takes a swing at Bell's ribcage but misses. Carter Jr wants to clinch up but Bell keeps it at a distance. Carter Jr misses with a combination
and Bell counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell misses with a shot to the body and Carter Jr counters with a body kick. Bell throws out a loose jab but Carter Jr uses good head movement to avoid it. Mike Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell misses with a shot to the body and Carter Jr counters by clinching up. Bell stalling in the clinch but Carter Jr improves position. Bell has picked Carter Jr up - he's going for a ride! Bell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bell looks gassed! Carter Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Carter Jr regains full guard. Nicely done. Carter Jr has his foot on Bell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bell works his way back into a safe position though. Bell is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter Jr has wrist control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carter Jr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bell is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell is in close to Carter Jr's body, working some short punches and elbows. Carter Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bell is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mike Bell will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Carter Jr tries to clinch but Bell moves away and Bell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carter Jr thinking. Bell moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Dwayne Carter Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carter Jr slips a straight right by Bell. Bell just misses with a punch to the body.
Carter Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Carter Jr wants to clinch and Bell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carter Jr looks to land a left hand but Bell moved out of range nicely. Carter Jr closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bell misses the jab. Carter Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a shot from downtown. Carter Jr moves away and avoids it. Bell moves out of range as Carter Jr strikes. Carter Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bell throws out a loose jab but Carter Jr uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice leg kick lands there from Carter Jr. Carter Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Carter Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bell works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Carter Jr throws out a loose jab but Bell uses good head movement to avoid it. A jab lands there for Bell. Bell looks to land a combination. Carter Jr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Carter Jr tries to bum rush Bell with a series of wild strikes but Bell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Bell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Carter Jr throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bell tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Carter Jr is able to avoid easily. Carter Jr finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bell lands a nice shot that snaps Carter Jr's head back.

Bell misses with a wild body shot. Bell circles away from the clinch attempt and Bell counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Carter Jr is trying to control but can't.

Carter Jr is looking for a sweep. Bell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bell wants to pass the guard but Carter Jr is defending well. Carter Jr avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bell. Ground and pound from Bell. Bell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Carter Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Carter Jr is trying to control but can't.
Carter Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Carter Jr moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carter Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter Jr is stalling here. Bell is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Carter Jr seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bell has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Carter Jr gets back to half guard. Carter Jr actively working from the bottom here. Bell lands strikes from half guard. Carter Jr moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bellis looking to pass into half guard but Carter Jr pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Carter Jr is in guard. Carter Jr avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Carter Jr wants to control from the top but Bell keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bell. Bell lands a jab. Bell throws a big shot that misses. Carter Jr blocks a head kick by Bell.
Mike Bell seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bell misses with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bell circles away quickly and effectively. Carter Jr scores with a kick to the midsection. Bell throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Carter Jr slips under a jab. Carter Jr thumps Bell with a low kick. Carter Jr tries to clinch up but Bell circles away and keeps his distance. Bell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Carter Jr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mike Bell has got the better of the ground game so far. Carter Jr is looking for a triangle but Bell pushes his legs off easily.
Bell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bell looking to sit in guard and control but Carter Jr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carter Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Bell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carter Jr won't allow Bell to sweep him here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Carter Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Bell circles away.
Bell lands a lovely overhand right. Carter Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Bell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carter Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Bell circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter Jr takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

A big right from Bell misses. Bell keeps the fight on the outside. Carter Jr looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bell connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Carter Jr takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bell lands in his opponent's guard. Bell stopping the sweep attempt from Carter Jr. Carter Jr looking for a guillotine here but Bell defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carter Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carter Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carter Jr! Carter Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bell can't do much from the bottom here. Carter Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dwayne Carter Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Bell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
