Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between He Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Wein is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, He Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Wein! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wein ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wein digs a good hook to Man's body.
Man takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like He Man has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Wein circles away.
Man takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wein lands a right hook to the body.
Man is looking to clinch. Man tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A jab-cross combination lands for Wein and sends Man crashing to the mat! Wein follows him down to the mat - Man regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! Man is breathing heavily. Wein throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Man blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wein. Wein is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Man sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wein lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Man is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wein scores with a couple of nice shots. Wein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nice strikes from Wein there. Wein is working for a submission of some sort.
Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Man tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is looking to escape. Wein looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Man might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Man is trying to stand up here but Wein is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wein looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Man is trying to stand up here but Wein is controlling him well. Wein uses his free foot to push down on Man's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Man is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Wein lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Man hang on? Man squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Wein lands a nice shot to the head. BOOM! Wein connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wein jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Man manages to avoid the submission attempt. Man explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! The fight stays on the outside here - Man looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Man creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Wein has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Man avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. He Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wein. Wein avoids the elbow strike from Man, against the cage.

It looks like John Wein has been cut. Wein is breathing heavily. Wein turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Man wants to get back to his feet but Wein drags him back down. Wein in side control, throwing shots but Man defends. Man pushes Wein away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wein gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Wein in side control lands a decent elbow. Man is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wein has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wein working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Man is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wein asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wein working the ground and pound. Man takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Wein prevents Man from escaping the position. Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wein on the ground. Wein landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Man is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wein is controlling him well. Wein tries for a kimura but Man is defending well. Man pushes Wein away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wein gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Wein is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Man is trying to escape and Wein transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Man is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wein! Very nice indeed!
