Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Cobsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Pietersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Joe Cobsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Pietersen! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pietersen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cobsen regains half guard. Cobsen tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Pietersen manages to move to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pietersen controlling from the full mount. Pietersen working Cobsen over with strikes here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pietersen controlling from the full mount. A nice elbow there by Pietersen. Cobsen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pietersen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Cobsen wants to hold on but Pietersen pushes him away. Pietersen punching from mount but Cobsen doing a good job of avoiding damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pietersen looking to control and managing it successfully. Cobsen is bucking up trying to escape but Pietersen cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Pietersen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Cobsen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Cobsen and Pietersen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobsen can't do much from the bottom here. Pietersen tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. A lull in the action here as Pietersen stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Pietersen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cobsen moves in looking to clinch but Pietersen pushes him off. Pietersen misses with a head kick.
Pietersen tries to bum rush Cobsen with a series of wild strikes but Cobsen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pietersen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pietersen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cobsen as he jumps to the side. Cobsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Pietersen circles away.
Cobsen tries to clinch up. Cobsen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cobsen looking for a guillotine here but Pietersen defends easily.
Cobsen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pietersen looking for submissions off his back. It looks like Cobsen is going to stand back up.
Cobsen stands up and beckons Pietersen to join him on the feet. Cobsen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pietersen holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Pietersen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cobsen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pietersen dodges the punch combination from Cobsen.
Joe Cobsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pietersen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cobsen did well to prevent Pietersen getting side control. Pietersen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cobsen is just riding it out for now. Pietersen eventually gives up the hold. Pietersen controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobsen is trying to stand.
Pietersen slows the pace down in half guard. Cobsen trying to get back to full guard but Pietersen takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pietersen controlling from mount. Pietersen unloading with bombs! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Pietersen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Pietersen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Cobsen slaps away a takedown attempt from Pietersen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cobsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cobsen tries to clinch there but Pietersen circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Cobsen. No joy for Pietersen on that attempt. Joe Cobsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pietersen throws a sloppy head kick and Cobsen moves out of range easily. Joe Cobsen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pietersen gets a clinch. Cobsen is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Pietersen takes an elbow to the forehead. Cobsen lands a damaging elbow. Cobsen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Cobsen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Cobsen misses with an elbow over the top. Cobsen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pietersen lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Pietersen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cobsen can't fight it off and eventually Pietersen manages to take the fight to the floor. Cobsen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cobsen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pietersen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pietersen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cobsen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pietersen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cobsen's guard now. Cobsen wants to sweep but no luck. Pietersen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cobsen moves into range and clinches up with Pietersen. Cobsen lands a damaging elbow. Joe Cobsen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobsen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Cobsen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Cobsen misses with a short punch on the inside. Pietersen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cobsen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Joe Cobsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Pietersen. Cobsen closes the distance looking to clinch and Pietersen counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pietersen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Cobsen is trying to escape and Pietersen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Cobsen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pietersen! Very nice indeed!
