Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dunlop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Strauss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Dunlop! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strauss throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dunlop's waist but Dunlop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strauss off to one side. Strauss takes the fight into the clinch. Strauss wants the takedown. Dunlop is fighting it off but Strauss persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dunlop's guard against the cage. Strauss trying to control the position from guard on top but Dunlop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dunlop looking for a sweep. Not yet Dunlop, not yet. Dunlop is trying to keep Strauss in close.
Strauss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dunlop, up you get! Strauss looks to land a combination but Dunlop avoids it well. Dunlop misses with a head kick.
Dunlop clinches with his opponent.
Strauss wants a takedown.
Dunlop is fighting off a takedown attempt but Strauss is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dunlop to the mat. Dunlop regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Strauss would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dunlop has his feet on Strauss's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Strauss closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Strauss lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunlop keeping full guard, as Strauss tries to pass. Dunlop trying to control the position.
Dunlop is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Strauss is controlling him. Dunlop doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Strauss wants to pass the guard but Dunlop is keeping the position. Strauss slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Strauss content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Strauss lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Strauss.
It looks like Richard Dunlop has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Strauss as Dunlop shoots in. Strauss tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dunlop is able to avoid easily. Strauss clinches. Dunlop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dunlop throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dunlop looks gassed! Strauss shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dunlop is trying to defend but Strauss finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Strauss stands up from half guard. Strauss tries to clinch but Dunlop moves out of range. Strauss wants to clinch and Dunlop counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strauss wants to get back to his feet. Strauss is not content to let Dunlop control the position. Dunlop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strauss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dunlop throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Strauss gets full guard. Strauss looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dunlop has gone for a leg lock! Strauss slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dunlop's guard. Strauss is stalling in the full guard. Strauss pushes down on Dunlop's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strauss wants to take a breather but Dunlop is having none of it. Dunlop is trying to maintain the position but Strauss is very close to passing his half guard. Strauss is nestled in close to Dunlop, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Strauss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Strauss seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dunlop is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
