Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carraig o Cathain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o Cathain is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: U2 - Pride. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but o Cathain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
o Cathain closes the distance and clinches.
o Cathain drags the fight down to the ground.
o Cathain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
o Cathain throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jones wants to stand but o Cathain has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
o Cathain is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment.
Jones tries to stand but o Cathain is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
o Cathain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
o Cathain seems keen to control Jones's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
o Cathain has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and o Cathain has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to o Cathain on a fantastic submission victory.
