The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from noel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Powers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Powers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
noel misses with a wild combination.
noel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Powers's guard.
Powers looking for a sweep. Not yet Powers, not yet.

noel connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Powers's hands.
Powers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Powers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before noel can pounce on him.

noel lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Powers drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Powers lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt noel or not.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
noel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

noel is refusing to be controlled, as Powers sits in half guard.

Powers controls noel momentarily but noel frees himself.

noel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Powers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Powers wants to stand but noel is controlling the position.
noel postures up in Powers's guard and throws a big left but Powers blocks it.

Powers looking to hit a scissor sweep but noel is one step ahead there.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Powers.
I've got Powers winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
