Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andile Jengo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jengo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - Ride the Lightning kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Scott could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andile Jengo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andile Jengo! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jengo avoids the body shot from Scott.
Jengo fails with a takedown attempt. Jengo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Scott drives through with a takedown into guard. Jengo keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully. Scott preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Jengo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jengo has his foot on Scott's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Scott works his way back into a safe position though. Jengo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Scott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scott seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Scott drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scott jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jengo fails with the takedown and Scott counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jengo's guard now. Jack Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andile Jengo. Scott tries to free his leg and advance position but Jengo is retaining full guard. Jengo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scott is one step ahead there. Scott pushing down on Jengo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Scott postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jengo to stand up. Scott blocks a head kick by Jengo.
Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there. Scott is breathing heavily. Scott seems to be looking for submissions.
Jengo wants to control but Scott is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Scott keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Scott is trying to control the action in half guard but Jengo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Scott fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jengo manages to avoid it. Scott throws a wild body kick that Jengo sees coming a mile off. Jengo fails with the takedown and Scott decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jengo's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Scott drops back looking for a leg! Jengo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jengo manages to kick Scott off! Scott jumps back into Jengo's guard. Scott drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Scott as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jengo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Scott! Nice submission victory there!
