0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dawid Maszczyk! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall moves into the clinch successfully.
Marshall just leaning against Maszczyk, taking a breather. Marshall decides to pull guard. Maszczyk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marshall is proving hard to escape from. Marshall wants to sweep here but Maszczyk controlling him for the moment. Maszczyk stands up from Marshall's guard - Maszczyk perhaps looking for a knockout. Marshall shoots in and drives through. Maszczyk sprawls well. Maszczyk scores with a one two! Marshall had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Doug Marshall has been cut. Maszczyk lands a nice hook to Marshall's body. Marshall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Marshall tries for a takedown but Maszczyk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dawid Maszczyk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maszczyk leaves Marshall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Marshall throwing strikes here but Maszczyk is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Maszczyk covering up well under a series of strikes from Marshall. Maszczyk is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
