Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colby Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colt has chosen Come Out Swinging - Offspring as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Muller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Colby Colt! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colt tries to clinch there but Muller circles away.

Colt tries to clinch but Muller is having none of it. Muller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Colt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Colt trying to remain calm as Muller controls from the top position. Muller stands up and beckons Colt to his feet. Colt leaves Muller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Muller shoots in for a double leg but Colt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Muller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Colt to the mat! Colt manages to get full guard. Colt keeping moving, preventing Muller from controlling successfully. Muller throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Muller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Muller showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Colt keeping moving, preventing Muller from controlling successfully. Muller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Muller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Colt, up you get! Muller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Muller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Muller throws a big right hand that misses. Muller looking to pass the guard. Muller stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muller throws a nice looking combination but Colt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Muller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Colt, pushing him back against the cage. Muller has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Colt regains guard immediately. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colt being controlled here, momentarily. Colt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Muller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Muller is in close to Colt's body, working some short punches and elbows. Colt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Muller prevents Colt from getting back to his feet. Muller content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Muller stands and steps away. Colt gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Muller has taken the fight to the clinch.

Muller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Muller trying to control but Colt is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Muller dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Muller throws the kick towards the body but Colt avoids it. Muller pushes Colt up against the cage in a clinch. Colt tries to land knees in the clinch but Muller avoids the damage to the body. Colt is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Muller works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Muller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Muller gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Muller closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Muller lands in his opponent's guard. Muller stands and steps away. Colt gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Colt is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muller goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Muller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Colt leaves Muller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Muller dives in and grabs Colt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Colt pushes down on Muller's head and hops out. Muller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Colt, pushing him back against the cage. Muller is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Colt pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreas Muller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Muller can't get the takedown.
Muller pulls guard effortlessly. Muller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Muller tries to get out of the position. Muller working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Muller looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Colt is defending well. Muller quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Colt has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Muller celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
