Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kerns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bunson Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerns might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cash - Hurt. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Kerns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bunson Turner!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kerns is out of range and Turner settles back down.
Kerns blocks a head kick by Turner.
Turner tries to bum rush Kerns with a series of wild strikes but Kerns uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kerns darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Turner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kerns.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kerns. Turner shrugs it off though.
Turner throws a leg kick
and Kerns counters with a good, hard body kick but Turner shrugs it off.
Turner looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kerns, right into the meat.

Kerns closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Turner to the mat! Turner manages to get full guard.
Kerns postures up in Turner's guard and throws a big left but Turner blocks it.
Kerns is looking to work some ground and pound but Turner has wrist control.
Kerns throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerns landing with the ground and pound.
Kerns prevents Turner from getting back to his feet.
Kerns missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kerns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kerns throws a leg kick which misses Turner's front leg but catches the back leg as Turner tries to avoid it.

Kerns shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kerns was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Turner wants to control but Kerns is having none of it.
Kerns looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kerns lands a nice shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kerns raining down shots from the mount!
Kerns avoids the attempt from Turner to control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kerns cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kerns throws some wild stikes that Turner manages to avoid easily.
Kerns prevents Turner from getting the reversal.

Turner tries to lock up and control but Kerns gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kerns cracks Turner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kerns with the ground and pound from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner wants to hold on but Kerns pushes him away.
Turner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kerns fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kerns in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Turner is in a horrible position here. Kerns smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Turner in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Turner is desperately trying to improve his position but Kerns has a good base and remains in mount.
Kerns throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Turner working to try and regain half guard.
Kerns pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kerns is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Turner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kerns throwing strikes here but Turner is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Turner is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Turner tries to reverse the position but Kerns maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kerns's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Turner throws a leg kick
and Kerns counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Turner misses with the combination.
Kerns lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Turner throws a right and a left that both miss.
Turner throws a lazy body kick
and Kerns counters with an outside leg kick.
Turner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kerns is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Turner can do to turn this around?
Turner lands a nice shot to the body.
Kerns ducks under a wild hook from Turner.
Kerns uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turner.

Turner is breathing heavily.
Turner misses with the combination.
Kerns slips a straight right by Turner.

Kerns lands with a kick to the ribs.
Good leg kick by Kerns there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Turner tries to move into range but Kerns moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Turner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Turner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kerns.

Bunson Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Turner throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Bunson Turner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kerns clinches up with Turner and pushes him back against the cage.

Turner's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Turner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Kerns has Turner pressed against the cage, preventing Turner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kerns lands an elbow inside that Turner shrugs off.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kerns.

Kerns throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Kerns.
Turner wants to break free but Kerns has control.
Turner stalling in the clinch but Kerns improves position.
Kerns lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kerns lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Turner takes a knee right on the jaw!

Kerns is trying to trip Turner. He has hold of a leg but Turner is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kerns persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Turner pulls Kerns in to control the position.
Turner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Turner wants to sweep here but Kerns controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kerns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Turner tries to bum rush Kerns with a series of wild strikes but Kerns uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Turner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kerns.
Kerns paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kerns connects with a single shot there.
Kerns shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense.

Turner steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kerns. That one must have hurt.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Turner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kerns is one step ahead there.

Turner throws a lazy right hand but Kerns sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jack Kerns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Turner throws a hook to the side of Kerns's head but Kerns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kerns turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kerns connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bunson Turner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Turner throws out a loose jab but Kerns uses good head movement to avoid it.

A head kick from Kerns lands but Turner takes it in his stride.
Turner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Turner throws a series of punches but Kerns moves out of range.
Kerns moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kerns.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kerns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Kerns has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
