Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Mikael Silva has been cut.
Boom swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
Boom gets a takedown into half guard.
Boom is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Silva has managed to free his arm - good work.
Boom is working for a submission of some sort.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Silva won't allow Boom to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boom is looking for a kimura here.
Silva wants to control but Boom is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boom is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Boom wants to finish this one by submission but Silva is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Boom.
Silva is in all sorts of trouble here.
Silva has given up his back here. Will Boom look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Boom looking to break Silva's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Silva remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Boom will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Boom is hanging on to Silva's back as he tries to escape.
Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boom looking for the choke but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Boom is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Silva defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Boom is breathing heavily.
Boom has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Silva turns into Boom and is now in his guard.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Boom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boom manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Boom's guard.
Silva has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boom to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Silva is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boom pulls down on the head and he's put Silva to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bobby Boom!
