Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Munden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munden has chosen time of the season as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Munden! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Blanco with that takedown attempt. Blanco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Munden on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Munden missing with punches from the bottom.

Blanco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blanco is trying to control the action in half guard but Munden is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Blanco slips a nice elbow through Munden's hands, connecting with Munden's forehead. Munden is not content to let Blanco control the position. Blanco controlling the action here. The referee stands the fighters back up. Jackson Blanco just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Blanco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Munden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blanco somewhat. Blanco fails with the takedown and Munden makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Munden leaves Blanco with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Munden throws a head kick that half lands.

And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Blanco showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Blanco, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
