And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Stingfinger!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Stingfinger shows good takedown defense.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, if Silva is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Silva lands with a punch from half guard.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stingfinger on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Stingfinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Stingfinger's temple.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Stingfinger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stingfinger is rocked!

Stingfinger has left one of his arms exposed and Silva doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Stingfinger screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
