Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aodhan o hAodha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Hawkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o hAodha comes to the cage accompanied by Cursum Perficio by Enya. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aodhan o hAodha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Hawkings!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkings wants to clinch.
o hAodha catches Hawkings with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hawkings clinches up with o hAodha and pushes him back against the cage.
o hAodha wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
o hAodha is trying to break the clinch but Hawkings is controlling him.
o hAodha fails to pull the fight into his guard.
o hAodha wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Hawkings manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
o hAodha goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hawkings prevents it.
o hAodha wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Come on Hawkings - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hawkings is pressed up against the cage. o hAodha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hawkings down to the mat. Hawkings avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aodhan o hAodha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hawkings staying out of range there.
o hAodha is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hawkings fails with the takedown.
Hawkings walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
o hAodha swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawkings.
Hawkings takes a body punch but keeps moving.
o hAodha connects with a looping right hand.
Hawkings on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
o hAodha throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hawkings sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hawkings is looking to clinch.
o hAodha shoots and misses
and Hawkings counters with a nice double leg into side control. o hAodha won't be happy with that.
o hAodha is looking to reverse the position.
o hAodha regains half guard.
Hawkings gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
A slow jab from o hAodha misses its intended target.
o hAodha darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hawkings wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
o hAodha is trying to control the action in half guard but Hawkings is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hawkings avoiding damage under a succession of punches from o hAodha.
Hawkings really doesn't want to stay on the ground with o hAodha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
o hAodha in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hawkings tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from o hAodha!
