Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hexa Hexagon! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hexagon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Makayata as he jumps to the side. Makayata shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hexagon throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Makayata working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Makayata wants to finish this one by submission but Hexagon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Makayata. Hexagon wants to hold on but Makayata pushes him away. Hexagon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Makayata working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Makayata is breathing heavily. Makayata is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hexagon has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hexagon! Hexagon with a flurry of punches that miss. Hexagon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Makayata keeping moving, preventing Hexagon from controlling successfully. Hexagon drops back looking for a leg! Makayata is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Makayata manages to kick Hexagon off! Hexagon jumps back into Makayata's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hexagon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Makayata works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hexagon thows a big elbow that misses. Makayata throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hexagon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hexagon tries to clinch but Makayata moves out of range. Makayata shoots in for a double leg but Hexagon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hexagon fails with the takedown and Makayata counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hexagon's guard now. Hexagon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hexagon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Makayata gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Makayata drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Makayata jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hexagon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Makayata is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hexagon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hexagon has escaped and now he's on top!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hexagon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hexagon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Makayata has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hexagon has managed to get both his arms back between Makayata's legs - danger averted. Hexagon thows a big elbow that misses. Hexagon is sitting in close to Makayata's body. Makayata has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hexagon is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hexagon is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Makayata.
