Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mick Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Real Deal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Real Deal!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deal shoots in but no luck this time.
Some wild striking there from Malone.
Deal moves in looking to clinch but Malone pushes him off.
Malone leaves Deal with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Deal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Malone catches Deal with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Deal swats away the attempt to clinch by Malone.
Deal shoots for a double leg takedown but Malone sprawls well. He's pushed Deal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mick Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Real Deal.
Deal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Malone pinned against the cage. Malone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Deal makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Deal.
Malone wants to control from the top but Deal keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mick Malone just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Deal tries to clinch but Malone moves away
and Malone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Deal thinking.
Malone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deal paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Deal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Malone's waist but Malone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Deal off to one side.

Deal jumps guard but Malone stands there with Deal around his waist. Deal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Real Deal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
