Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manni Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humahuta Kumahuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humahuta Kumahuta has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Manni Mann's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manni Mann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Humahuta Kumahuta!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kumahuta was covering up waiting for the punch and Mann finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mann will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kumahuta looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mann trying to control the position from guard on top but Kumahuta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mann pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kumahuta is keeping the position for now.
Mann with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kumahuta trying to keep a closed guard but Mann is proving a slippery customer.
Mann would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kumahuta looking for a sweep. Not yet Kumahuta, not yet.
Mann has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mann thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mann gets to his feet - Kumahuta follows without any prompting.
Kumahuta shoots and misses

and Mann counters with a single leg into guard. Kumahuta didn't expect that.

Mann stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Mann gets a takedown into half guard.

Mann throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mann tries to stand and escape but Kumahuta is controlling the position.
Mann looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mann seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kumahuta tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Kumahuta is trying to control but can't.
Mann throwing shots but Kumahuta is blocking nicely.
Kumahuta trying to hold on to Mann's head to control him but Mann postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mann lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Mann has taken the fight to the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mann is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kumahuta can't fight it off and eventually Mann manages to take the fight to the floor. Kumahuta looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kumahuta has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mann stands and steps away. Kumahuta gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Mann shoots in and drives through. Kumahuta sprawls well.
Kumahuta clinches but Mann breaks the clinch

and Mann counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mann.
Kumahuta looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mann is one step ahead there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kumahuta is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Mann controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kumahuta looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Kumahuta is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mann defends well.
Kumahuta manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mann tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kumahuta stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Kumahuta thuds his shin into the meat of Mann's side.

Mann gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kumahuta drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mann pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kumahuta misses with a takedown attempt
and Mann counters with a head kick.
Manni Mann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Humahuta Kumahuta.

Kumahuta drives through with a takedown into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mann has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kumahuta stands and throws Mann's legs to the side, diving into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manni Mann dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kumahuta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kumahuta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kumahuta wants to control from the top but Mann keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kumahuta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mann swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kumahuta shoots and misses

and Mann counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mann loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mann wants to stand but Kumahuta has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kumahuta trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Kumahuta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mann is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kumahuta.
Kumahuta sneaks back into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mann not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Manni Mann overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kumahuta is positioning himself well to prevent Mann advancing to mount.
Kumahuta wants to control but Mann is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mann tries to stand and escape but Kumahuta is controlling the position.
Kumahuta makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kumahuta.

Kumahuta bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mann's guard.
Mann manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kumahuta tries to lock up and control but Mann gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kumahuta gets back to half guard.
Kumahuta blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mann.
Kumahuta controlling the position well.

Kumahuta looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Mann throwing shots but Kumahuta is blocking nicely.
Kumahuta tries to roll over but Mann keeps him under control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mann is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Mann thows a huge punch but Kumahuta dodges it nicely.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mann.
Danga de danga de dang - Mann scores with a four punch combination!

Kumahuta closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kumahuta is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mann has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kumahuta staying calm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Humahuta Kumahuta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!


Kumahuta fails with the takedown
and Mann counters with a nice leg kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mann. Kumahuta shrugs it off though.
Mann comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kumahuta takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mann throws a head kick that half lands.
Mann connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mann.

Mann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mann is looking to stand up but Kumahuta won't let him.
Kumahuta is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kumahuta looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mann is defending well. Kumahuta quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mann has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kumahuta celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Humahuta Kumahuta!
