Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Youseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk by Pantera. Nicky Youseph will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicky Youseph!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Youseph tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Youseph looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Youseph is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Jackson.
Youseph fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jackson, pushing him back against the ropes.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Youseph holds him up against the ropes and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.
Jackson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Youseph throws a punch but it's blocked by Jackson.

Youseph thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Youseph trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Youseph got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Youseph has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Youseph gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Youseph manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Youseph has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jackson is looking to defend but Youseph has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jackson! Youseph pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jackson taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nicky Youseph!
