Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Filipovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanaka shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hoshi Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filipovic stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanaka. Tanaka gets slowly back to his feet.

Filipovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tanaka shoots in looking for a takedown. Filipovic tries to sprawl out of it but Tanaka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Filipovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Filipovic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tanaka.
It looks like Hoshi Tanaka has been cut.
Filipovic throws a sloppy head kick and Tanaka moves out of range easily.
Filipovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tanaka to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Tanaka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tanaka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
