Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Purple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tiger Vector!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Purple closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vector did well to prevent Purple getting side control.
Purple blocks the strikes from Vector.
Vector strikes from the bottom but Purple passes into mount!
Vector tries to hold on but Purple pushes him away.
Purple landing shots from mount.
Purple wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Purple trying to control but Vector is having none of it.
Vector wants to hold on but Purple pushes him away.

Purple goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Vector turns into him and now he's in Purple's guard.
Purple can't keep his opponent in guard - Vector advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Purple gets full guard.
Vector is looking to work some ground and pound but Purple has wrist control.

Purple has an active guard here but Vector has managed to pass into half guard.
Vector has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vector is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Purple doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vector.

Vector is trying to work for a kimura but Purple is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Purple is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Vector is looking to take a break and control but Purple is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Purple trying to control but Vector postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vector is trying to control the action in half guard but Purple is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Vector has his takedown stuffed

and Purple counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vector won't be happy with that.

Purple is trying to get an arm triangle but Vector is defending well.
Purple is breathing heavily.
Vector sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Purple looks to land a strike but Vector avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Purple drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Purple seems to have locked his on tight now - Vector screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Purple, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Danny Purple!
