Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Banks! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks drops Jones with a right and a left! Banks comes rushing in but Jones regains his composure and manages to keep Banks in guard.
It looks like Brandon Jones has been cut. Banks wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Banks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Banks has picked Jones up and slammed him! Jones can't keep hold of the triangle and Banks manages to pass to side control! Banks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones is looking for a sweep. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Banks tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. A punch combination from Banks misses. Banks tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Banks tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Nice combo by Banks! Oh, that's hurt him - Jones falls to the canvas and Banks follows him into side control.
Jones is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Banks is staying tight to Jones's torso, preventing him from escaping. Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones tries to bench press Banks off him but Banks keeps the position. Jones seems to have got his legs back now. Banks stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Banks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jones if he has to take too many more of those.

Bryan Banks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Banks wants to clinch. Jones misses with a body kick. Jones throws a right and a left that Banks avoids nicely. Jones moves away from the strike by Banks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Banks pulls him back up using the underhooks. Banks manages to break the clinch.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jones is working for a kimura but Banks is defending it quite comfortably.

Jones has Banks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Banks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Banks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Banks manages to break the clinch.
Banks tries to clinch and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Banks is retaining full guard. Banks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Banks is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
