The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Sandler. No joy for Irish on that attempt.
Sandler stuffs the takedown.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sandler.
It looks like Conner Irish has been cut.
Sandler jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Irish is rocked!
Sandler gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Irish has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sandler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Irish is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sandler is on top in guard.
Sandler wants to pass the guard but Irish is keeping the position.

Sandler lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Irish tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sandler dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Irish seems to have got his legs back now.
Irish is breathing heavily.
Sandler feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Irish crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
