Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Reeves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Anderson! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson tries to bum rush Reeves with a series of wild strikes but Reeves uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nick Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Reeves checks a leg kick. Reeves swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson. A combination from Anderson does no damage. Reeves closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anderson to the mat! Anderson manages to get full guard. Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reeves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Reeves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Anderson keeping full guard, as Reeves tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reeves won't allow Anderson to get back to his feet. Reeves drops back looking for a leg! Anderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anderson manages to kick Reeves off! Reeves jumps back into Anderson's guard. Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reeves is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reeves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Anderson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reeves is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Anderson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reeves's back instead. Anderson doesn't have the hooks in and Reeves manages to turn into his guard.
Reeves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reeves counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Anderson! Anderson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Anderson wants to hold on but Reeves pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson tries to improve his position but Reeves has taken his back! Reeves has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Anderson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Reeves pushes Anderson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jason Reeves!
