Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mega Man Rock Medley. Jon Curtis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Curtis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rhodes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

James Rhodes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rhodes smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Curtis lands with a slapping head kick.
Rhodes thuds a left hand into Curtis's body.
Curtis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rhodes avoids it really well and circles away.

and Curtis counters with a nice kick to the body.

Rhodes gets caught flat footed, as Curtis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Curtis looking to sit in guard and control but Rhodes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Curtis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Rhodes wants to stand but Curtis is controlling his posture from full guard.
