Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edi Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyde is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Edi Hyde could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Adam Lesnar's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hyde looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Lesnar scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lesnar lands some shots froms side control.

Lesnar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lesnar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lesnar has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lesnar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lesnar tries to clinch but Hyde moves out of range.

Lesnar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lesnar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lesnar wants to control but Hyde is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesnar decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hyde slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.
Hyde fails to land the takedown.

Lesnar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hyde manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hyde on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hyde tries to get out of the position.

Lesnar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Lesnar throws and elbow that misses. Hyde uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lesnar's guard. Nice move by Hyde!

Hyde stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lesnar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hyde is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Lesnar is not content to let Hyde control the position.

Hyde is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lesnar has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lesnar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hyde is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hyde seems to be working for a kimura but Lesnar defends the submission attempt.
Lesnar pushes Hyde off but Hyde dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Lesnar dominated that round.

Hyde looks for a takedown but Lesnar sprawls well.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Lesnar! Hyde is backing up but he can't get away as Lesnar lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Hyde and ends the fight. Great knockout.
