1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Cage! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Klaspinowski is fending him off so far but Cage persists. Nope, Klaspinowski circles away and we're back to standing. Cage scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Klaspinowski misses with a takedown attempt and Cage counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cage slips under a jab. Klaspinowski fails with a takedown attempt. Klaspinowski wants to clinch. Klaspinowski looks to land a right hand but Cage moved out of range. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cage taking shots to the head. Klaspinowski looking to control and managing it successfully. Klaspinowski landing punches. Klaspinowski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cage is bucking up trying to escape but Klaspinowski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Klaspinowski is landing with some decent strikes but Cage is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Klaspinowski has control of Cage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cage regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Klaspinowski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cage is wriggling around trying to escape.
