Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. disturbed - down with the sickness kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Barack Lesnar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.
Lesnar gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gracie on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Lesnar.
Gracie is looking to clinch but Lesnar is avoiding it.
Gracie misses with a two punch combination.

Lesnar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie.
Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lesnar's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lesnar duly obliges.
Gracie missing with a left hand there. Lesnar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A jab from Gracie misses.
Chuck Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesnar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lesnar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Lesnar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Lesnar moves away and avoids it.
Nice defenses there by Lesnar.
Some bone on bone action there as Lesnar checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gracie tries a head kick but it misses.
Lesnar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lesnar cracks a nice hook into Gracie's ribs.
Gracie throws a looping overhand right but Lesnar ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A punch lands to the side of Gracie 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lesnar throws out the jab.

Gracie misses with a combination
and Lesnar counters with a straight right hand.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
enabling Lesnar to counter with a crisp jab.
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Lesnar saw that one coming.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lesnar was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gracie postures up in Lesnar's guard and throws a big left but Lesnar blocks it.

Lesnar pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lesnar is keeping the position for now.
Lesnar wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
Lesnar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie won't allow Lesnar to get back to his feet.
Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lesnar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Gracie might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Lesnar slips the punch.
Barack Lesnar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lesnar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
