Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nintendo Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Veechi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinny Veechi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nintendo Takada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinny Veechi! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takada will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takada lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Takada. Takada tries a head kick but it misses.
Veechi walks into a jab. Veechi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Veechi cracks Takada with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Takada fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Veechi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Some wild striking there from Takada.
Veechi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Takada, pushing him back against the cage. Veechi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Takada throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Veechi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Takada missing with a left hand there. Veechi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Takada throws an overhand right that lands on Veechi's shoulder, as Veechi tries to avoid the shot. Takada gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Veechi. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takada moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Veechi connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Takada is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Veechi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takada.
Takada shoots in but no luck this time. Takada throws a sloppy head kick and Veechi moves out of range easily. Takada throws a good cross that connects.
Takada throws a leg kick but Veechi checks it. An inside leg kick from Takada misses. A punch combination from Takada misses. Veechi misses with a series of wild punches.

Takada just misses with a punch to the body.
Veechi swings for the body but Takada moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Takada. Takada waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Veechi. Veechi throws a series of punches but Takada moves out of range. Takada falls off balance throwing a combination
and Veechi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Veechi. Takada wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Takada breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Takada loads up on a big right hand but Veechi slips the punch. Takada moves forwards but Veechi connects with a nice, crisp jab. Takada throws a lazy head kick and Veechi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takada thinking. Takada throws a half hearted mid kick. Veechi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Takada. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Takada. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Takada falls off balance throwing a combination
and Veechi counters with a left to the body. Veechi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Takada looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takada thuds a left hand into Veechi's body. Takada throws a lazy head kick and Veechi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Nintendo Takada has been cut. Takada is breathing heavily. Takada throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Veechi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Takada takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Takada misses with a head kick.
Veechi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Veechi throws a right hand that Takada ducks under and follows up with a left that Takada also avoids with ease. Takada throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Veechi moves into the clinch. Veechi gets control of Takada's arms and successfully pulls guard. Veechi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Takada got a little sloppy there for a moment and Veechi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takada has managed to get both his arms back between Veechi's legs - danger averted. This has been an exciting period of action! Takada postures up.
Veechi doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Veechi looking for a guillotine here but Takada defends easily.
Veechi wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Takada is now in half guard. Well, if Takada is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Takada tries to pass the half guard into mount. Veechi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Veechi is trying to stand back up but Takada is controlling him
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Takada wants to take a breather but Veechi is having none of it. Veechi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Takada's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Takada's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vinny Veechi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nintendo Takada's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Veechi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takada waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Veechi. Veechi moves out of range as Takada strikes. Takada works the jab nicely. Veechi wants to slow Takada down by chopping away at his legs. Veechi scores with a one two! Takada had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Veechi tries to clinch but Takada moves out of range. Veechi cracks Takada with a good jab. Takada throws a predictable looking body shot
and Veechi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Takada is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Takada wants to get back to full guard. Takada trying to control but Veechi postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veechi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Takada trying to control here.
Veechi prevents Takada from improving his position. Veechi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Takada defends it well. Veechi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Takada knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Takada swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Veechi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Takada thinking. Takada throws a head kick but Veechi moves out of range.
Veechi misses with a combination
and Takada counters with a lovely straight right hand! Veechi misses with a looping right. Takada throws a jab but it's blocked by Veechi. Nintendo Takada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takada throws a leg kick that is checked letting Veechi counter with a right hand. Veechi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Takada lands a slapping body shot.
Takada misses with an uppercut. Takada throws a nice looking combination but Veechi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Veechi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takada manages to avoid it. Veechi throws out a loose jab but Takada uses good head movement to avoid it. Veechi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Veechi there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takada lands with a hook. Veechi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Veechi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takada avoids it really well and circles away. Veechi is breathing heavily. Nice defenses there by Takada. Nice sprawl there from Veechi as Takada shoots in. Takada misses with a body kick. Veechi avoids the body shot from Takada.
Veechi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Takada throws a head kick but Veechi moves out of range.
Vinny Veechi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Veechi clinches with his opponent.
Veechi keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Takada's efforts to push away. Takada can't get the takedown.
Veechi pushes Takada back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Veechi lands with a left to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takada drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nintendo Takada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Veechi lands a left hand.
Takada tries to circle away but Veechi has him pinned against the cage. Takada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Takada manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Veechi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Takada trying to control the position but Veechi is working away. Veechi sneaks out the side door and pushes Takada away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Veechi misses with a straight left. Takada throws a head kick that Veechi semi-blocks.
Veechi just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Veechi slaps away a takedown attempt from Takada, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Takada misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Vinny Veechi will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Nintendo Takada's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Takada throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Veechi on the side of the head. Veechi throws a nice looking combination but Takada bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice body punch from Veechi. Veechi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Veechi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Takada makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Takada. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Veechi slips nicely into half guard. Takada is trying to maintain the position but Veechi is very close to passing his half guard. Takada is refusing to be controlled, as Veechi sits in half guard. Takada is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Veechi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Veechi's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Takada doesn't have the hooks in and Veechi manages to turn into his guard.
Takada is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Veechi trying to control but Takada is working from the bottom. Veechi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Takada swivels though and keeps the full guard. Takada pulls Veechi in close to his closed guard and prevents Veechi from doing any damage or advancing position. Takada lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Veechi!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Veechi swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Veechi tries to reverse the position but Takada maintains control. Takada tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Takada wants to control the pace but Veechi is squirming around nicely. Takada avoids the attempt from Veechi to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Veechi throwing hammer fists to the chest of Takada. What's that going to do exactly? Takada tries to control but Veechi wriggling away. BOOM! Takada connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Takada takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Veechi is squirming around, avoiding Takada's attempts to control the action. Takada breaks from Veechi's wrist control and lands an elbow. Veechi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Vinny Veechi. Well Veechi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
