The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Do San tries to clinch but Edwards moves out of range.
Do San dives in and grabs Edwards's left leg, looking for a takedown. Edwards pushes down on Do San's head and hops out.
Do San is looking to clinch but Edwards is avoiding it.
Do San lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Juan Edwards has been cut.
Baek Do San seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Do San lands a nice leg kick that just misses Edwards's sensitive parts.
Edwards fails with the takedown
and Do San decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Edwards's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Do San is stalling in the full guard.
Do San wants to control from the top but Edwards keeps moving.
Edwards throws his legs up looking for a submission but Do San uses it to pass to side control.
Edwards tries to bench press Do San off him but Do San keeps the position.
Do San controlling the position from side mount.
Do San knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Edwards on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Edwards tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Do San wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Do San wants to lay and pray for a moment but Edwards keeps working.
Edwards is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Do San's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Do San prevents Edwards from improving his position.
Do San winds up and cracks Edwards with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Do San wants to get up but he can't break Edwards's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Edwards looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Do San is defending well. Edwards quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Do San has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Edwards celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
