Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Roll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Warrior!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roll misses with a series of wild punches.

Warrior moves into the clinch.
Warrior tries to break the clinch but Roll is controlling the position.
Warrior is trying to force a seperation but Roll has the dominant position.
Roll wants to get back to striking at distance but Warrior won't allow it.
Roll is trying to break free.

Roll breaks the clinch.
Warrior lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Warrior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Roll misses with a two punch combination.

Warrior scores a takedown into full mount!
Warrior working the ground and pound effectively.
Warrior unloads with some shots from mount but Roll bucks and avoids them well.
Warrior has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Warrior uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roll.
Roll catches Warrior napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Warrior to the canvas!
Warrior looks gassed!
Warrior throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Roll is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Warrior bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roll's guard.

Roll wants to stand and escape but Warrior is having none of it.
Roll on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Roll tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roll throws a hook but Warrior avoids it easily.

Warrior shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roll napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Roll sneaks back into half guard.
Roll tries to roll over but Warrior keeps him under control.
Roll is looking to control Warrior's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roll avoid being mounted?
Roll is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Roll misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Roll tries to get to full guard but Warrior has control of the leg.
Roll is trying to stand back up but Warrior is controlling him

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Roll slaps away a takedown attempt from Warrior, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roll lands a right hook to the body.
Warrior misses with a few strikes there.
Roll looks to land a body kick but Warrior moved away.
Warrior staying out of range there.
Warrior misses with a wild combination.
Roll throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Warrior.

Warrior shoots in and bounces Roll off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Roll throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Roll wants to get back to his feet but Warrior passes into half guard.
Warrior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roll does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roll pushes Warrior off looking to stand but Warrior dives back in and keeps control.
Roll is trying to maintain the position but Warrior is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Randy Roll will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on The Warrior's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Roll is refusing to be controlled, as Warrior sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warrior seems to be working for a kimura but Roll defends the submission attempt.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Roll lets loose with a powerful body kick. Warrior will feel that in the morning.
Warrior is breathing heavily.

Roll misses with a few strikes there.
Roll throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Roll rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warrior moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Roll throws a body kick that misses.
Randy Roll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warrior staying out of range there.
Warrior walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Roll throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Warrior tumbling to the canvas!

Roll is in close to Warrior's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Warrior is still in real trouble! Can Roll finish him?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Warrior flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Warrior is wriggling around trying to escape.
BOOM! Roll connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Roll lands a big shot there that rocks Warrior but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Warrior is trying to escape the mount.
Roll lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Warrior takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Warrior tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Roll looking to finish Warrior with some ground and pound. This is bad for Warrior!
