Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Grauf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kak Sandwich! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Grauf is trying to break free. Grauf tries to circle away but Sandwich has him pinned against the cage. Sandwich is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Sandwich misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Grauf.
Sandwich manages to break the clinch.
Grauf moves in looking to clinch but Sandwich pushes him off. Sandwich throws a body kick that misses. Sandwich rushes Grauf and presses him up against the cage. Sandwich breaks from the clinch.
Sandwich moves into range and clinches up with Grauf. Grauf takes a shot to the head. Grauf takes a knee to the side of the body. Grauf has Sandwich pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sandwich manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Grauf looking to slow down the pace here. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Grauf tries to circle away but Sandwich has him pinned against the cage. Sandwich lands a good knee to the midsection. Grauf won't want to take too many of those.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandwich utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Sandwich's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sandwich gets a clinch. Sandwich landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Sandwich avoids the elbow strike from Grauf, against the cage.
Sandwich breaks the clinch.
Grauf wants to land a leg kick but Sandwich is out of range. Sandwich wants to clinch. Sandwich looks to land a body kick but Grauf moved away. Sandwich throws a head kick that misses. Sandwich pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sandwich lands a head kick. Grauf smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Brandon Grauf has been cut. Grauf avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Grauf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sandwich avoids it really well and circles away. Grauf is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Sandwich closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Sandwich breaks the clinch.
Sandwich scores with a head kick.
The fighters circle, before Sandwich throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Grauf's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Sandwich lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
