Putzillini comes to the cage accompanied by Battle March Medley. Kesler has chosen Cancer Bats - Deathsmarch as his entrance music. Rocky Putzillini has the better chin. The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Putzillini misses the target.
Putzillini tries to clinch up but Kesler circles away and keeps his distance.
Putzillini throws a right hand that Kesler ducks under and follows up with a left that Kesler also avoids with ease.
Putzillini listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Kesler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Putzillini.
Rocky Putzillini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putzillini scores with a jab. Kesler acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Putzillini getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Putzillini throws a nice looking combination but Kesler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Kesler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Putzillini moves away.
Kesler avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Putzillini takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kesler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kesler swings for the body but Putzillini moves out of range.
Putzillini takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kesler throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kesler misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kesler lands a jab to the nose.
Kesler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Putzillini stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kesler lands with a shot to the body.
Kesler drops Putzillini with a beautiful combination! Putzillini stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kesler is looking for the KO!
Putzillini is rocked!
It looks like Rocky Putzillini has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kesler lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Putzillini can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kesler and Putzillini drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kesler.
